Just 37 minutes from Denver, The EDGE in Castle Rock offers a 4-story aerial course with 110+ obstacles and ziplines hitting 50 mph through the foothills.
Looking for adventure without the long drive? The EDGE Ziplines & Adventures in Castle Rock is just 37 minutes south of Denver, sitting on the edge of the beautiful 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park. It's the perfect escape from the city for a day of aerial thrills.
The Epic Sky Trek
The headline attraction is the Epic Sky Trek: a massive 4-story aerial adventure course spanning 10,000 square feet with 110+ unique obstacles. Three difficulty levels mean everyone from 4-year-olds to hardcore adrenaline seekers will find their challenge.
The lower level (20 feet) features trust falls and the Quickflight free fall. The middle level (50 feet) brings rock climbing walls, rappelling stations, and a leap-of-faith zipline. The upper Eagle's Nest level (75 feet) is for true daredevils, with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountain foothills.
The state-of-the-art CLiC-iT continuous belay system means you're always safely clipped in. It's physically impossible to accidentally disconnect. Budget about 4 hours if you want to tackle all 110+ elements.
The Zipline Tour
The EDGE's zipline tour features 10 lines reaching speeds up to 50 mph through the Rocky Mountain foothills. Weight limits are 70-250 pounds. Each line offers increasingly dramatic views of the Front Range and surrounding terrain.
Who It's For
- Sky Trek: Ages 4+ (kids 4-8 need an adult companion on course)
- Ziplines: 50-250 lbs on the Classic, 75-250 lbs on the Extreme
- Perfect for: families, corporate team building, birthday parties, date days, and friend groups
- Open daily 9 AM - 6 PM
Getting There from Denver
Take I-25 south to exit 182 (Plum Creek Parkway). The EDGE is less than 3 miles off the interstate at 1375 W Plum Creek Pkwy. Total drive time from downtown Denver is about 37 minutes, even less from the south suburbs.
Make It a Full Day
Morning (9 AM - 12:30 PM): Tackle the Sky Trek aerial course. Start with the lower levels to warm up, then progress to the 50-foot and 75-foot challenges.
Lunch (12:30 - 2 PM): Head to downtown Castle Rock for lunch. The historic downtown is just a few minutes away with great local restaurants, craft breweries, and farm-to-table options.
Afternoon (2 - 4:30 PM): Return for the zipline tour. The 10-line course is the perfect afternoon complement to the morning's climbing and obstacles.
Bonus: Philip S. Miller Park itself is worth exploring if you have extra time: hiking trails, a massive staircase climb (the "Incline"), and playground areas for kids.
Want More? Head to Cañon City
If the EDGE gives you a taste for Colorado adventure, our Cañon City location (about 1 hour 45 minutes further south) offers world-class whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River, helicopter tours over the Royal Gorge, America's highest suspension bridge, and overnight lodging in cabins, yurts, and Airstreams.
